Electronic Accounts Disclosure Electronic Accounts Disclosure

By agreeing to this disclosure, you are agreeing to receive any and all account disclosures and statements electronically. This disclosure contains the terms and conditions which govern your agreement to receive any and all account opening, subsequent and other statements and disclosures, as such disclosures become available electronically by Wilmington Trust.

As any statement or disclosure becomes available for your review, we will notify you by email of such availability. You will then be directed to sign onto our website, using your User ID and password, where you will be able to view, print or save your disclosure(s) and/or statement(s).

Hardware and Software Requirements
To receive the above information electronically, you will need all of the following:

  • a computer or other device with the capability to access the Internet and view web pages
  • a working individual email address on file with Wilmington Trust
  • the most current or any of the immediately preceding two general release versions of Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox® browser. All browsers must have 128-bit encryption capability must support JavaScriptTM and must be set to accept cookies
  • the most current or the immediately preceding general release version of Adobe Acrobat® Reader®

To download the most current version of any of this software, go to www.mozilla.com, www.microsoft.com, or www.adobe.com.

To retain the above information, you will need the following:

  • a printer (for printed copies); or
  • a working hard drive or other storage device (for electronic copies).

Availability of Paper Records
For deposit accounts requiring electronic statements (including Access Online Checking Accounts), and for deposit accounts on which you have elected to receive only electronic statements, paper copies of any statements or disclosures available to you electronically will not be distributed to you except under the following circumstances:

  • if you change your email address and do not provide us with a new working individual email address in accordance with the requirements described below under "Your Email Address"
  • if we are otherwise unable to provide disclosures to you electronically
  • upon your request.

If you wish to obtain a paper copy of any disclosure or statement you may log in to our website and print the disclosure or statement, or you may submit to us a separate request for each paper copy through one of the methods described below under "How to Contact Us." Include in your communication to us your name, address, account number and the information you are requesting.

A separate charge may apply for each paper copy of a disclosure or statement provided to you for any of the above reasons. Please see our current fee schedule on our website for our current fees for this service. These fees may change from time to time, and we will notify you of any such change.

Withdrawing Consent for Electronic Delivery
If you have an account that requires electronic statements and you decide in the future that you wish to withdraw consent for electronic delivery of disclosures and statements, we will require that you convert your account to an account permitting paper records.

For all other deposit account types, you have the right to withdraw consent for electronic delivery at any time. If you withdraw consent, your account type will remain the same. However, you will be charged the applicable pricing, if any, for paper records.

See our current fee schedule on our website for individual product pricing for non-electronic delivery of disclosures or statements. These fees may change from time to time, and we will notify you of any such change.

To withdraw consent, you must take the following steps:

  • Notify us that you no longer desire to receive electronic statements or disclosures through one of the methods described below under "How to Contact Us."
  • Include in your communication to us your name, address, and account number.

Any withdrawal of consent will apply to all electronic disclosures and account statements that you currently receive from us, and all future statements and disclosures will be sent to you in paper format.

Your Email Address
You are responsible for all of the following:

  • providing Wilmington Trust with a working individual email address
  • notifying Wilmington Trust of your new working individual email address each time you change your email address by logging in to our website and updating your email address in your Profile. Or you can utilize one of the methods described below under "How to Contact Us."

Any notification of change of email address you provide to us must be received by us at least seven (7) business days before scheduled delivery of the statements or disclosures. Include in your communication to us your name, address, account number and your new and old email addresses.

Please note that any change you make to your email address will only change your email address for purposes of electronic statements and disclosures. It may not change your email address for purpose of any other communications you might receive from us through our website or otherwise.
